Oziel Gonzalez Jr put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Gonzalez Jr and Desert Heights Prep will head out on the road to face off against Valley Lutheran at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
