Venice put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Neumann Celtics by a score of 7-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

Venice's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Neumann, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Venice is taking a road trip to face off against Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indians 0.5, the Sailors 2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Neumann, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Kingwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
