Volleyball Game Preview: Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics vs. Valor Preparatory Academy Knights

The Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics will take on the Valor Preparatory Academy Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Holy Trinity Catholic lost 3-0 to Summit Christian Academy on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Celtics seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Holy Trinity Catholic was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Summit Christian Academy work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-12, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Valor Preparatory Academy entered their tilt with Memorial Christian Academy on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors.

Valor Preparatory Academy was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17, 25-18.

Valor Preparatory Academy's win bumped their record up to 24-10-2. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Holy Trinity Catholic might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Valor Preparatory Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
