Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-6 to the Clarke County Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mountain View of the 12-9 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Mountain View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Moomaw, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Eaton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Clarke County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10.
As of now, neither Mountain View nor Clarke County have any future games scheduled.
