Basketball Game Preview: West Chicago Wildcats vs. Aurora Central Catholic Chargers

The West Chicago Wildcats will square off against the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, West Chicago was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-38 to Aurora East. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Aurora Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of IC Catholic Prep. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 613th, while the Knights are ranked 126th).

West Chicago's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Aurora Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 4-21.
