Volleyball Recap: West Creek Victorious

West Creek's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Northeast Eagles by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Coyote, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

West Creek walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-23, 16-25, 25-18.

Olyvia Holloway paced West Creek's offense, picking up 12 kills. Holloway got some help from Nicole Cushionberry and her 24 assists. Holloway was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

West Creek now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Creek will host Henry County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeast, they will welcome Rossview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
