Geneseo had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Haverling Rams. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Phillip Dotterweich made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Oren Ray, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Luke Davis, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Geneseo's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Haverling, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Geneseo's road trip will continue as they head out to face Caledonia-Mumford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Haverling, they will head out to take on Keshequa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
