Softball Recap: Chicago Christian Knights vs. Peotone Blue Devils
Chicago Christian extended their losing streak to 11 on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 1-12 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Peotone Blue Devils. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.
Chicago Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Rashan, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.

She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jillian Roark, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Kosmos, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
