The Inspiration Academy Lions will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Venice Indians at 7:00 p.m. Inspiration Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Venice's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Tuesday, Inspiration Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Bradenton Christian, taking the game 9-5.
McKenna Cassidy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. Cassidy has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
