Softball Recap: Pearsall's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a good run, but Pearsall unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Pearsall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kirsten Morales, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Jeralynn Gutierrez was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Pearsall's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for La Grange, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.

Pearsall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 loss against Reagan on the 28th. As for La Grange, they have also already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Edinburg North on the 27th.
