Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Elk City last Tuesday, Clinton came back down to earth. The Clinton Red Tornadoes took a 56-37 bruising from the Cimarron Trailblazers on Thursday. The matchup marked the Red Tornadoes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Clinton's loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Cimarron, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Clinton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-42 victory against Kingfisher on the 13th. As for Cimarron, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 91-38 win against Shidler on the 13th.
