Basketball Recap: Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Comes Up Short

Garner-Hayfield/Ventura lost against Bishop Garrigan back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals came up short against the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears, falling 65-42. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 31st).

Garner-Hayfield/Ventura dropped their record down to 7-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
