Basketball Recap: Manchester Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Manchester, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 win over the Field Falcons on Saturday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Falcons are ranked 652nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Field, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Manchester will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Center Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Center Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Manchester surely won't give up without a fight. As for Field, they will square off against Rootstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
