South Windsor and Tolland are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bobcats will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Windsor has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 10.

On Tuesday, South Windsor didn't have quite enough to beat Avon and fell 12-11.

Brianna LeGare was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Siena Hart, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tolland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Ellington on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Tolland's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for South Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

South Windsor couldn't quite get it done against Tolland in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 4-0. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
