It was a good run, but Columbia Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of New Life Christian Academy by a score of 2-1. The Crusaders were not able to make up for their loss to New Life Christian Academy from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Columbia Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Columbia Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for New Life Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Columbia Christian has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lafayette County on the 27th. As for New Life Christian Academy, they will square off against Abundant Life at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
