Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, American Heritage couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Fort Walton Beach Vikings by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

American Heritage got a big performance out of Arianna Reynolds, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Diaz, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

American Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 23-3. As for Fort Walton Beach, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-8.

As of now, neither American Heritage nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
