Basketball Recap: Forest City Skates Past West Hancock with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waverly-Shell Rock, Forest City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 68-39 victory over the West Hancock Eagles. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Forest City has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for West Hancock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest City will welcome Bishop Garrigan at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Garrigan will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Forest City surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Hancock, they will be playing at home against Fort Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
