It was a good run, but Ripon unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Christian Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Emma Resop paced Ripon's offense, picking up four kills. Resop got some help from Adele Minor and her four assists.

Heritage Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nadia Li led the charge by getting eight digs. That's the most digs Li has posted over her last ten matchups.

Ripon's loss dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

Ripon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Anthony on the 4th. As for Heritage Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against South Milwaukee on the 4th.
