For the second straight game, Fredericksburg will face off against Davenport. The Billies will challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fredericksburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Fredericksburg easily dispatched Bandera on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Billies fell just short of Davenport by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The game marked the Billies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Harrison Langford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

Davenport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Fredericksburg, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 15-5.
