Volleyball Recap: Decatur Comes Up Short

Decatur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Sparkman Senators.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14.

Caroline Coulter paced Decatur's offense, picking up six kills. Coulter got some help from Sarah Roberts and her seven assists.

Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sparkman, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Decatur didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pleasant Valley on the 30th. As for Sparkman, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Hartselle on the 29th.
