Basketball Recap: Gaston Takes a Loss

Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 58-21 loss at the hands of the Clatskanie Tigers. The Greyhounds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.

Gaston's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Clatskanie, their victory bumped their record up to 6-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gaston won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Nestucca at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clatskanie, they will head out to face off against Knappa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
