A&M Consolidated is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Hendrickson. Given A&M Consolidated's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Hendrickson are ranked 71st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Georgetown kept a clean sheet against Friendswood on Friday. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 6-0 victory. Give Georgetown's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Georgetown is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-2-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those nine games. A&M Consolidated's victory bumped their record up to 23-0-1.
