Baseball Recap: Cactus Comes Up Short

After flying high against Moon Valley on Wednesday, Cactus came back down to earth. Cactus wound up with the same score they had in their last game (12-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Eli Torres made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Raven Anderson, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

Cactus' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Elizabeth, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Cactus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-8 victory against Agua Fria on the 25th. As for Elizabeth, they have also already played their next match, an 11-1 win against Harrison on the 25th.
