Baseball Recap: Plymouth Victorious

Plymouth lost to Concord back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Pilgrims/Rockies walked away with an 11-7 win over the Minutemen.

Plymouth got a big performance out of Preston Wolfe, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The Pilgrims/Rockies are 2-1 when Wolfe posts two or more runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Austin Price, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

The victory got Plymouth back to even at 5-5. As for Concord, their record is now 3-3.

Coming up, Plymouth will venture away from home to square off against Warsaw at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pilgrims/Rockies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season.
