Volleyball Game Preview: Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets vs. Mt. Mansfield Cougars

The Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets will square off against the Mt. Mansfield Cougars on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Bellows Free Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past South Burlington 3-0. The victory was nothing new for the Bobwhites/Comets as they're now sitting on six straight.

Bellows Free Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Mt. Mansfield faced Colchester in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-23.

Bellows Free Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Mt. Mansfield, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

Bellows Free Academy took their win against Mt. Mansfield when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobwhites/Comets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
