Soccer Recap: Lafayette's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Lafayette was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against the Clinton Arrows, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lafayette of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lafayette fell to 4-1. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Lafayette didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Oxford on the 13th. As for Clinton, they have also already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Tupelo on the 8th.
