Volleyball Recap: Landri Mcfarlin Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Dawson

Jonesboro had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out the Dawson Bulldogs 2-1 on Thursday.

Jonesboro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landri McFarlin, who had 12 digs and eight kills. Landree Deats was another key player, getting seven digs and two aces.

Dawson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Jonesboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Perrin-Whitt on the 14th. As for Dawson, they will square off against Avalon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
