Corner Canyon gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 45-0 win over the Bingham Miners. The victory was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on 12 straight dating back to last season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Corner Canyon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Helaman Casuga, who threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Weston Briggs was another key rusher, rushing for 151 yards on only 14 carries.

Corner Canyon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 248 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 248 rushing yards in six consecutive games dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Corner Canyon will challenge West Broward at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bingham, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Alta at 7:00 p.m.
