Soccer Game Preview: Dekaney vs. MacArthur

Dekaney hasn't had much luck against MacArthur recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats will welcome the Generals at 6:45 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Dekaney took on Spring on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for Dekaney seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Meanwhile, MacArthur had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mustangs an 8-0 shutout. Considering MacArthur have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Westfield from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Zariah Tuscana led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Dekaney's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for MacArthur, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
