After flying high against Surry County last Friday, Brunswick came back down to earth. The Bulldogs took a 13-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Windsor Dukes on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dukes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Nasir Williams threw for 57 yards on three of 11 attempts. On the ground, Bronson Ross rushed for 43 yards.

Jeremy King looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 94 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Brunswick's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Windsor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brunswick will take on rival Southampton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Windsor is set to face off against their familiar foe Sussex Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
