Baseball Recap: Wilmington Comes Up Short

Wilmington fell victim to Melrose and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Red Raiders. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured 12 defeats in a row.

Wilmington's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Melrose, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilmington is set to challenge their familiar foe Burlington at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Melrose will square off against rival Stoneham at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
