Basketball Recap: Benton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Benton can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Farmington Cardinals and fell 77-31. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Cardinals are ranked third).

Benton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-10 record this season. The win was the 18th in a row for Farmington, bringing their record for this year to 28-1.

Benton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Farmington has already played their next game (against Vilonia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
