San Gorgonio won the last time they faced Rim of the World and things went their way on Monday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Fighting Scots by a score of 3-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 22-25, 25-17, 25-21.

San Gorgonio's win bumped their record up to 6-19. As for Rim of the World, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

The future could be bright for both San Gorgonio and Rim of the World: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Spartans will look to extend Eisenhower's six-game losing streak when they meet at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rim of the World will try to hand Arroyo Valley their sixth-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
