Basketball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piggott Mohawks. The Yellowjackets were probably out for revenge after losing 55-47 to them when the teams met back in November of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Piggott, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Bay will take on Cross County in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bay is facing Cross County at the right time seeing as Cross County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Piggott has already played their next match, a 50-47 victory against East Poinsett County on the 13th.
