Kaleb Hacker gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April on Wednesday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Portage is 4-2 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 8-10-2 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Hacker and Portage will challenge Chesterton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians haven't beaten the Trojans recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2021.
