Rockridge had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Orion Chargers a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Rockets have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tatum Lowe looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Rockridge got a massive performance out of Emilee Black, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Stella Riley was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Rockridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orion only posted an OBP of .286.

Rockridge's victory was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Orion, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockridge will welcome Princeton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Orion, they will host Erie-Prophetstown at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
