Volleyball Recap: Wickliffe Comes Up Short

Wickliffe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the West Geauga Wolverines, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Wickliffe's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for West Geauga, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Wickliffe will challenge Berkshire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Blue Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for West Geauga, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Copley on the 6th.
