Basketball Game Preview: Oxford Academy Patriots vs. Glenn Eagles

The Oxford Academy Patriots will head out to square off against the Glenn Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oxford Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Oxford Academy is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of Whitney by a score of 46-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Patriots have suffered against the Wildcats since April 30, 2021.

Meanwhile, Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Cerritos, falling 93-35. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1122nd, while the Dons are ranked 510th).

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Oxford Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
