Baseball Recap: Rockcastle County Comes Up Short

Rockcastle County was the 5-4 winner over Lincoln County when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets fell 6-3 to the Patriots on Thursday.

Rockcastle County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Thacker, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Carson Carrera was another, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Rockcastle County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Lincoln County, their record now sits at 12-19.

Coming up, Rockcastle County will square off against East Jessamine at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Rockets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln County, they will face off against Madison Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
