Soccer Recap: Cheltenham Takes a Loss

The Cheltenham Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Central Bucks South Titans on Monday and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, Cheltenham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 371st, while Central Bucks South are ranked 124th).

This is the second loss in a row for Cheltenham and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Central Bucks South, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Coming up, Cheltenham will face off against Neshaminy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neshaminy's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Central Bucks South, they will be playing at home against Central Bucks East at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th.
