Volleyball Game Preview: South Beloit Sobos vs. Schaumburg Christian Conquerors + How To Watch

The South Beloit Sobos will head out on the road to challenge the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with South Beloit sitting on four straight victories and Schaumburg Christian on six.

South Beloit not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Lincoln Academy.

Peyton Lervik was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven aces and one assist. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Ambrose, who had ten aces and eight assists.

They weren't the only good servers: South Beloit was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 31 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Schaumburg Christian earned a 2-0 win over Christian Life on Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Schaumburg Christian was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10.

South Beloit's record now sits at 20-5. As for Schaumburg Christian, their record is now 17-3.
