Levi Murphey's Big Game Leads Westminster Schools of Augusta over Westminster Christian Academy

Levi Murphey's big game helped extend Westminster Schools of Augusta's winning streak to 13 on Friday. Murphey turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 301 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 60 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.

Unfortunately for Westminster Christian Academy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Murphey. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Murphey saw the Lions), he threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Westminster Schools of Augusta picked up their 13th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Charlie Grinalds. Westminster Christian Academy had no answer to Grinalds as he made four total tackles.

Another Game with at Least 110 Receiving Yards from Levi Ketterman

Levi Ketterman's big game helped extend Westminster Schools of Augusta's winning streak to 13 on Friday. Ketterman's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 110 receiving yards dating back to last season. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards.

For the season, Ketterman has averaged 7 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.4 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 11.6 rushing yards.

Covenant Academy was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Seth Daugherty did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Daugherty as he picked up 69 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Covenant Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. Daugherty will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Harvester Christian Academy on Friday.

Westin Robinson Makes It Two for Covenant Academy

Another Covenant Academy player making an appearance on this list is Westin Robinson. He picked up 64 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards.

On the year, Robinson has averaged 32.7 rushing yards per game.
