Soccer Recap: Tradition Prep Comes Up Short

Tradition Prep lost against Martin County back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tradition Prep Pirates lost 8-0 to the Martin County Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 523rd, while the Tigers are ranked 115th).

Tradition Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14-2 record this season. As for Martin County, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Tradition Prep will square off against Westwood at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Tradition Prep is facing Westwood at the right time seeing as Westwood is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Martin County, they will face off against Benjamin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
