Baseball Game Preview: Norwalk Bears vs. Ridgefield Tigers

The Norwalk Bears will challenge the Ridgefield Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Norwalk will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Norwalk is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: New Canaan, who was ranked fourth at the time (Norwalk was ranked second). The Bears walked away with a 9-6 win over the Rams on Monday.

Meanwhile, Ridgefield came up short against St. Joseph on Wednesday and fell 6-1.

Norwalk's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Ridgefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Norwalk got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Ridgefield by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
