Game recap: Farmersville High School Football Team wins against Lindsay

FARMERSVILLE, Calif. - In spite of trailing
Lindsay (Calif.) 21 points,
Farmersville (Calif.) surged back to grab a 45-35 win over
Lindsay (Calif.) Saturday.
After nabbing the lead on a touchdown catch by
Gaven Mann, the Cardinals went into halftime with a 28-25 lead. The Aztecs took the lead for good with a touchdown pass by
Sam Metcalf to
Joseph De La Cruz in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring seven points in the third, Farmersville still trailed by four points going into the fourth quarter. But 13 points in the fourth helped FHS pull out the victory.
Metcalf was one of the biggest factors in Farmersville's victory, as the junior threw five touchdowns.
The loss comes after Lindsay defeated Fowler 44-7 last week. With the win Farmersville extended its winning streak to three games.
