Soccer Recap: Summit Comes Up Short

The Summit Tigers came up short against the Frontier Academy Wolverines on Saturday and fell 3-1.

Summit's goal came courtesy of Olivia Lyman, which was the first she's scored this season.

Summit's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Frontier Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Summit will square off against Battle Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Frontier Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Longmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frontier Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Longmont have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season.
