Sabetha and Hiawatha are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Sabetha Bluejays will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hiawatha Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Hiawatha took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sabetha, who comes in off a win.

Sabetha played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They walked away with a 46-39 victory over Perry-Lecompton.

Meanwhile, Hiawatha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. The contest between them and St. Marys didn't end well, with Hiawatha falling 59-43. The game was a 27-27 toss-up at halftime, but the Red Hawks couldn't quite close it out.

Sabetha's win ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14. As for Hiawatha, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
