Basketball Recap: Lyndon Institute Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lyndon Institute can now relate to. They took a 66-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peoples Academy Wolves. Even if the Vikings couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Lyndon Institute has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Peoples Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyndon Institute will face off against Lamoille at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lamoille has five straight wins, Lyndon Institute has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court. As for Peoples Academy, they will head out to face off against Richford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Richford will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Peoples Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
