Football Recap: Patterson Comes Up Short

Patterson is still winless after their contest against Franklin on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lumberjacks have suffered since August 30, 2024.

Patterson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Franklin, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patterson will head out to square off against Kaplan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will venture away from home to challenge Catholic - N.I. at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
