Volleyball Recap: Bennett Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bennett was the 3-0 winner over Byers when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs on Thursday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Bennett ultimately came up short, they really made Byers work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Kaurlie Voorhies paced Bennett's offense, picking up eight kills. Voorhies got some help from Emilee Venneberg and her 20 assists.

Bennett's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Byers, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Bennett is taking a road trip to face off against Arrupe Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Byers, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Burlington on the 19th.
